Kansas City Beats Chicago, 5-1
|
Behind an impressive start by Desi Cotton, Kansas City beat Chicago, 5-1. The loss makes Chicago 47-37.
Nathan Abel had a big 2-run home run for the Hepcats in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Kansas City leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from XJ MacCannon, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE with a 1.27 WHIP, and swatted a home run to right. It was his 22nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hepcats ahead, 4-1.
"Desi did what Desi does," said Kansas City manager .
