The Kansas City Hepcats topped the State College Swift Steeds , 4-3, in Minor League PBE action at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. The game was highlighted by the performance of Kansas City pitcher A Bird. The victory gives the Hepcats a record of 43-42.

The Hepcats got a clutch hit from catcher Jacopo Reddick. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hepcats.

Kansas City manager called it "a pretty good win."
