The State College Swift Steeds did just enough to sneak past the California Firehawks, 4-3, at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium. State College pitcher Archie Richards, in particular, had a standout performance. Nero Mantics notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. His record now sits at 2-2. The win elevated the Swift Steeds to 46-39.

Romain Gauthier was the walk-off hero for State College. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Swift Steeds right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
