Fortune Excels in 10-8 Florida Win
The Florida Flamingos powered past the Amarillo Armadillos, 10-8, at Florida Man Park. McScootie Fortune went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Florida pitcher Lilyin Blue got the win, upping his record to 6-3. Garlic Bread [BOT] got the loss. The Flamingos now own a record of 46-41.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Flamingos grabbed the lead when Fortune hit his 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Garlic Bread [BOT] made it 10-8, Florida.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Fortune told the Florida Daily.
