Giannoulas 3-3, Leads Wheelers to Win
|
Good production from first baseman Ted Giannoulas helped the Anchorage Wheelers topple the Brew City Bears, 9-6. Giannoulas went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Wheelers. The win lifted the Anchorage record to 48-38.
Giannoulas had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a sacrifice fly. The Wheelers went on to win.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Anchorage skipper .
