Amarillo Gets 10-5 Win Against Kingpins
The Amarillo Armadillos downed the Chicago Kingpins, 10-5. The hitting star was designated hitter Beau Mathews. Mathews was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Armadillos. Amarillo raised its record to 50-40 with the win.

Kveta Vlková hit a 2-run home run off Chudigal Son in the bottom of the first, which put the Armadillos ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Vlková had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.
