Fans who congregated at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod were treated to extra-inning drama.

Starting pitcher Crabtin Crunch pitched well enough to help the State College Swift Steeds beat the Amarillo Armadillos, 8-6. Nero Mantics earned his 4th save in 6 chances.

State College relied on the bat of D.W. Dogmaple to get the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Swift Steeds ahead, 8-6. For the game, Dogmaple had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Dogmaple said.

State College now has a 3-game win streak.
