Amarillo first baseman Bill Slamsquatch had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the State College Swift Steeds , 10-3. Zoe D'yak got the win, improving to 9-4. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 1 and walking 2.

Amarillo took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Slamsquatch hit a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season made the score 6-3, Amarillo.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Slamsquatch.

With the win, Amarillo upped its record to 55-37.
