The Amarillo Armadillos withstood a fine game by Brew City left fielder Julio Ruiz Jr. at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites, to upend the Bears, 7-3. Ruiz Jr. went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. Carroll Niedfeldt closed out the game, earning his 4th save. With the win, the Armadillos improved to 44-51.

Third Baseman Dusty Greer made an impact for Amarillo, when he swatted a 2-run double off The Pizzanator III in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Greer was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
