Swift Steeds Win Close Shave, 4-3
The State College Swift Steeds and Amarillo Armadillos put on quite a show.

State College starter Mann Person pitched well against the Amarillo Armadillos at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. The win belonged to Valente Martinez in relief. His record improves to 8-4. Brett Dusinberre took the loss for Amarillo.

State College used the timely hitting of Michael Honcho to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Swift Steeds on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Amarillo manager . "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."

State College has won 3 straight, while Amarillo has lost 4 in a row.
