The Chicago Kingpins topped the Brew City Bears, 5-3, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Chicago center fielder Ottoman Timothy was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Mickey Martino earned the save for Chicago, his 15th of the year. Chicago has now won 4 games in a row.
With Chicago leading 2-1 in the top of the sixth, Timothy hit a run-scoring single off Brew City hurler Masahiro Sato. It was the 89th hit of the season for Timothy and put his team ahead, 3-1.
Timothy attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
