The Louisville Lemurs started the First Round in dominant fashion, blowing out the host Kansas City Hepcats at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good by a score of 15-3 and securing an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Lemurs right fielder Samuel Sheeping was 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
