Chicago Kingpins won a nail-biting series against the Anchorage Wheelers 3-2, wrapping up the First Round finale 7-4 at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo.

Kingpins second baseman Troy Monopolitzki was named the series MVP.

He batted .467, drove in 6 runs and scored 2 to lead Chicago into the next round of play.

"Troy was real solid for us, real solid," said Kingpins manager . "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."

The Semi-FInals matchups and schedule will be announced after the First Round finishes..
