The State College Swift Steeds have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Amarillo Armadillos, winning 10-2 at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium today. Swift Steeds catcher Emidas Blair was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Swift Steeds to 2-1 in the best-of-5 First Round.

Diego Ramieriez, who is rated as the 18th best prospect by BNN, contributed to the State College win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
