The Kansas City Hepcats started the First Round in style, downing the visiting Louisville Lemurs at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good by a score of 9-5 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Hepcats shortstop Niklavs Stavinskis went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2.
