Riding the 4-hit performance of second baseman Marcus Otatop, the Amarillo Armadillos got a road win against the Brew City Bears, 7-5, in Game 2 of the World Series. Otatop went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Armadillos, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Amarillo catcher Chorizo McTater helped the Armadillos go up, 6-5, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, McTater hit a run-scoring single off Brew City pitcher Masahiro Sato.
