Flamingos Clip Swift Steeds , 6-5, in SF Contest
Already down in the Semi-FInals, the Florida Flamingos put on their best show, beating the State College Swift Steeds by a final score of 6-5. Michael Honcho was special. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Florida now trails State College 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Florida catcher Moon Shot, facing Valente Martinez, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Flamingos the 6-5 win.

Shot said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 2nd , 2079 at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0 in Providence.
