Kingpins Advance to World Series
The Chicago Kingpins were paced by a strong offensive output from Boots Poffenberger as they downed the Louisville Lemurs 4-3 to win the Semi-FInals.

Chicago won the final game by a score of 6-5 at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle to send themselves off to the World Series.

"I wasn't so much focused on putting up big offensive numbers as I was about ensuring we won the games. So it's mission accomplished there," said designated hitter Poffenberger, who was named MVP.

For the series, the MVP hit .321 with a .321 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi-FInals finishes.
