The Louisville Lemurs started the Semi-FInals in style, winning on the road against the Brew City Bears at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House by a score of 5-4 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Lemurs third baseman Smack Miller excelled. He was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks.

In the top of the fifth, Louisville first baseman Dirk Quaakenbosch had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and no one out, Quaakenbosch stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 4-3, Louisville. For the game, he was 1-4.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Miller told the Louisville Gazette.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House in Providence.
