Flamingos Win to Tie Series with Hepcats
|
The Florida Flamingos knotted up the Semi-FInals at The Evil Dictator x Jose Forty-Three Best Friendship Ballpark today, thanks in large part to center fielder Gator McGraw. McGraw went 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 as he overpowered the Kansas City Hepcats, enabling Florida to grab the 9-4 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Florida used the bat of Luca to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I got everyone together and told them they did great today," Florida manager told BNN reporters after the game. "But I warned them that even if we make it out of the Semi-FInals, it's only going to get harder."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Evil Dictator x Jose Forty-Three Best Friendship Ballpark in Providence.
