Squatch Blasts Apex, Voyagers Take Game 3, 6-3
The New York Voyagers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Indianapolis Apex, winning, 6-3, at The Brickyard. Voyagers third baseman Man Squatch was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. The win cuts the deficit facing the Voyagers to 2-1 in the best-of-7 World Series.

There was more than one reason the Voyagers beat the Apex, but Squatch's big at-bat in the top of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

Squatch called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Brickyard in Providence.
