Kansas City Win to Pull Even With Brew City
|
The Kansas City Hepcats topped the Brew City Bears by the score of 3-1 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the World Series today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Kansas City starter Biggus Tittious Smittious, who threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball in the win.
Smittious, a native of Toronto, Canada, was dealing all game. He kept Brew City hitters off-balance, while giving the Hepcats 7 quality innings. Smittious threw 89 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 5.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Smittious said.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House in Providence.
