Kansas City Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-2
Already down in the World Series, the Kansas City Hepcats put on their best show, beating the Brew City Bears by a final score of 7-6 today. Patrick Eshenbaugh was special. He went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Kansas City now trails Brew City 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

With two out in the bottom of the second, Ford Lincoln-Mercury barreled up a fastball from Liru Wolf. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Hepcats in front, 7-1.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Lincoln-Mercury. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 12th , 2069 at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House in Providence.
