The Anchorage Wheelers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading California Firehawks, winning 13-1 at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons today. Wheelers shortstop Pass went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. The win cuts the deficit facing the Wheelers to 2-1 in the best-of-5 First Round.

The Wheelers took a 9-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Facing California hurler LeSean Maximus Marbondalenny Pitchlord with two outs, Pass hit a grand slam home run.

"It's a huge change in atmosphere versus last game," Pass said after the win. "I feel like we're back in the mix now. We just can't let up."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons in Providence.
