Ranas Rack Up 5-3 Win Versus Brew City
|
Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House was the site of a competitive game between the Brew City Bears and Puerto Rico Ranas.
Puerto Rico first baseman A.J. Comyn helped his team beat the Brew City Bears, 5-3. Comyn went 3 for 4 for the Ranas. Marc Jackson was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Sloane Sinclair.
Comyn had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth to put Puerto Rico in front, 5-3. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Brew City pitcher Real Games.
Comyn attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."
The loss drops the Bears to 1-1.
