A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Anchorage Wheelers and Florida Flamingos.
Anchorage parlayed a decent outing from starter Alex Kidd into a solid win over the Florida Flamingos. The final score was 7-2. Florida drops to 1-3.
Rex Jordan helped out the Anchorage cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the center fielder drew 2 walks in 5 trips to the plate, while scoring 2.
