Anchorage Gets 9-1 Win Against Bears
The Anchorage Wheelers rode a solid performance from 21-year-old starting pitcher Elijah Rosado to a win, beating the Brew City Bears, 9-1, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. The winning pitcher was Rosado, now 1-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. With the loss, Brew City drops to 1-3.

Anchorage shortstop Slime Sluggerton contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Wheelers ahead, 2-0.

Said Brew City manager : "They did a lot of things right. We did a lot of things wrong."
