Amarillo Armadillos starter Barto O'Colon turned in a top-notch performance against the Chicago Kingpins at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. The result was a win for the Armadillos, 5-2. O'Colon yielded 1 run over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-0. The loss drops Chicago to 2-3.

The Kingpins had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Armadillos going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old second baseman Mortimer Dog came to the plate. Dog hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch curveball from Chicago hurler Joseph Mathys Hendry. It was Dog's 2nd home run of the year.

"We did a lot of things right," said O'Colon.
