Anchorage Absorbs 5-3 Loss to Brew City
|
Though he had a stellar game, Buloke Colton could not prevent his team, the Anchorage Wheelers, from losing, 5-3, to the Brew City Bears. Colton went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Brew City pitcher Aperol Sprtiz got the win. He's now 1-1. Bobby Winner was tagged with the loss. The loss drops Anchorage to 5-3.
The Bears got a big at-bat from shortstop Agnes Digital. For the game, Digital went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Brew City a 4-3 lead.
"I like our moxie," said Bears manager .
