Muffin, Wheelers Get 3-1 Win
|
Scud Muffin, who is rated as the 7th best prospect by BNN, had a strong outing for the Anchorage Wheelers against the Louisville Lemurs at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. Louisville falls to 7-2.
Muffin gave Anchorage a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings.
"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Anchorage manager .
