Hepcats Edge Brew City in Pitching Duel
|
The Kansas City Hepcats downed the Brew City Bears, 1-0, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Stellar pitching by Chih-Wei Lee had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Porygon Two closed out the game, earning his 1st save. The Bears drop to 5-9, as their fitful start to the 2077 campaign continues.
Klemen Kamenik, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in hits with 21, had a direct impact on the outcome. Kamenik contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Kansas City up, 1-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Kamenik.
