Brew City first baseman Srevor Tory was instrumental in helping the Bears triumph, 4-3, over the State College Swift Steeds . Tory hit 3 home runs. Zaxby Chan was the winning pitcher. Over 8 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts. The Bears with just their 4th win in 14 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Brew City used the timely hitting of Calvin O'Shanassy to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bears on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
