Firehawks Come Back Late to Top Kingpins, 4-2
The Chicago Kingpins could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Lord Slick Fingers into a win. Instead, the California Firehawks prevailed, 4-2. Slick Fingers threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Chicago is 7-8 after the loss.

California used the timely hitting of Goro Majima to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Firehawks on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Majima.
