The Amarillo Armadillos downed the Louisville Lemurs, 3-1, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Stellar pitching by Crabtin Crunch Jr. had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE with a 1.12 WHIP, handcuffed his opponent all game. Tayalamp Battalemo got credit for the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The Lemurs fall to 7-10 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2078 season.

Amarillo needed the clutch hitting of Matt Wuhu to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 3-1. For the game, Wuhu had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
