Killfigure Batters Louisville Big Time
|
State College right fielder Tommy Killfigure had a big day at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0 against the Louisville Lemurs. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 9-2 Swift Steeds triumph over Louisville.
"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Killfigure said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
Tommy Killfigure singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
So far this season, Killfigure has recorded a .359 batting average with 23 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs, 7 runs scored and a .397 OBP.
