The Brew City Bears outlasted Darius Maxwell and the Florida Flamingos, 9-8. Maxwell was impressive in the loss. The Florida first baseman hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. With the loss, Florida falls to 4-14.

The decisive blow was delivered by Srevor Tory in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Lilyin Blue to win the game for Brew City. The home crowd went nuts.

"We've got a great group of guys," Tory said, "and we're having fun right now."
