Swift Steeds Mow Down Wheelers, 9-4
|
Jackson Fox impressed in the 9-4 State College win over Anchorage. Fox, who is tied for 3rd in the MiLPBE in hits with 28, went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times. The Swift Steeds have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 19 games.
In the bottom of the seventh, State College catcher Nobid E Nokrym hit a run-scoring single to center field. The clutch hit made it, 5-4, Swift Steeds .
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Nokrym told the State College Daily News.
