Swift Steeds Earn Late 3-2 Win
|
The State College Swift Steeds , despite a fine performance by California pitcher Crabby Pebbles, grabbed a 3-2 win at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. Pebbles allowed 1 run over 6.2 innings. Shaq Itoff [BOT] snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Carlos Krash suffered the loss. For the Firehawks, the loss makes their record 8-13.
State College took a 3-2 lead on Matthew T. Braun's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Braun hit in the bottom of the eighth, left California pitcher Carlos Krash visibly frustrated.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Braun said.
