California picked up a win at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium, bumping off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 5-1. Pitcher Ima DudeMan was a major reason the Firehawks emerged victorious. This loss makes it 8 in a row for Puerto Rico.

California used the timely hitting of Goro Majima to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Firehawks on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
