Swift Steeds Strike Down Armadillos, 10-1

State College Swift Steeds starter Derek Kirkland kept the Amarillo Armadillos hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 10-1 win. The first-place Swift Steeds have won 4 consecutive games.
In the bottom of the fourth, Tobias Graf delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the State College catcher hit a run-scoring single, putting the Swift Steeds in front, 10-1.
"Nothing to write home about," Amarillo manager said, when asked afterward about the game.
