Backstop Hits Two Dingers, Swift Steeds Win, 10-5
The State College Swift Steeds downed the Chicago Kingpins, 10-5, at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. The Swift Steeds were led by Dusty Backstop. Backstop slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. State College pitcher Li Tattersall got the win, upping his record to 4-2. Lord Slick Fingers got the loss. The first-place Swift Steeds are 17-10.

Backstop contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for State College in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-1, Backstop took a fastball from Lord Slick Fingers and stroked the home run to center. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Swift Steeds to leap in front, 4-2.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Backstop said. "We did a good job of that today."
