					| In a low-scoring contest between the Anchorage Wheelers and the Kansas City Hepcats, Scud Muffin was the X factor. The Anchorage right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The winner was Muffin. He threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Elijah Miller. Harlem Moncrief nailed down his 4th save. 
 Stetson Laramie, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Wheelers organization, chipped in a solo  home run for Anchorage in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
 
 "Tough loss," said Kansas City manager  . "The kind that burns a little inside."
 
 Anchorage is now 15-14, while Kansas City is 12-17.
