Thanks in large part to center fielder Gandalf the Grey, the Kansas City Hepcats beat the Amarillo Armadillos, 8-6. the Grey went 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Porygon Two was credited with the save for Kansas City, his 2nd of the season. At 16-13, the Hepcats claim third place in the West Division.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Klemen Kamenik? The Kansas City left fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Hepcats on top, 2-0. For the game, Kamenik had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
Kamenik said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
