The Chicago Kingpins downed the Amarillo Armadillos, 4-1, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Stellar pitching by Avery Time had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in wins with 3, handcuffed his opponent all game. The victory gives Chicago a record of 17-13.

Chicago took a 3-1 lead on Joe East's 10th home run of the season. The solo home run, which East hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Amarillo pitcher VJ Edgecombe visibly frustrated.

"It never gets old," said East. "Winning, that is."
