Bears Take Nail-Biter Over Wheelers
The Brew City Bears topped the Anchorage Wheelers by a score of 5-4 in 11 innings. Leading the way was first baseman J.B. Rainier. Rainier was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles for the Bears. Brew City reliever Pedro Papelbottom got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Crazy Tomato III was tagged with the loss. Brew City has an impressive 21-10 record.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Rainier hit a fastball from Crazy Tomato III for a solo home run. The Bears, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
