Firehawks Get Hard-Earned Win
Starting pitcher Massive Unit pitched well enough to help the California Firehawks beat the Anchorage Wheelers, 6-5. Yong-woo Jun snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-0 on the season. Greg Buse suffered the loss. With the win, the Firehawks sit at 19-13.

The decisive blow was delivered by Goro Majima in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Greg Buse to win the game for California. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was bedlam at the end," Majima said.
