The Anchorage Wheelers powered past the Florida Flamingos, 13-6, at Florida Man Park. Chris Cash Jr. provided some of the pop. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Pickle Riedemann earned the win, while 20-year old right-handed pitcher Daithi Kennedy-Senan took the loss for Florida. The win boosted Anchorage to 17-15.

Anchorage used a well-timed hit by Robin Banks to capture the win. The second baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Wheelers ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Cash Jr. told the Anchorage Gazette. "It's as simple as that."
