Bears Rack Up 3-1 Win Versus Puerto Rico

In a low-scoring contest between the Brew City Bears and the Puerto Rico Ranas, Aoife Carter was the X factor. The Brew City right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Carter picked up the win for Brew City, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 5-3. Picking up the save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher The Pizzanator III.
Brew City took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Thomas Sankara hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Bears.
