Conditions were not ideal but State College and Florida were able to put their game in the books.

The State College Swift Steeds besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Florida catcher Moon Shot by beating the Flamingos, 8-6, at Florida Man Park. Shot was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 4th-place Flamingos have lost 4 consecutive games.

State College used the hitting of Michael Honcho to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Swift Steeds on top, 8-6. For the game, Honcho had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
