In a low-scoring game between the Brew City Bears and the Puerto Rico Ranas, pitcher Masahiro Sato was the difference-maker. The Brew City right-hander was tough as nails in the 3-1 Bears win. The save went to "Fire" Aaron Boone, his 7th this season. The victory gives Brew City a record of 23-12.

Durian Crag had a big run-scoring triple for the Bears in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Brew City leading 2-1 and a runner on 3rd, he got a cutter from 29-year old left-handed pitcher Ribbit Ribbit [BOT] and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bears ahead, 3-1.
