Hepcats Stick Flamingos with 5-2 Loss
|
The Kansas City Hepcats got a strong performance from pitcher Antone Ridgeford, who stymied the Florida offense en route to a win, 5-2, at The Evil Dictator x Jose Forty-Three Best Friendship Ballpark. Lieutenant Dudz picked up the save for Kansas City, his 5th of the year. Kansas City has an impressive 26-10 record.
With one out in the bottom of the second, Player To Be Named Later barreled up a fastball from George Georgeas. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Hepcats in front, 4-0.
In postgame comments to the Kansas City Observer, Ridgeford said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
