Bears Earn Win with Late Rally
With designated hitter Srevor Tory leading the charge, the Brew City Bears defeated the Louisville Lemurs, 9-8, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Tory, who is tied for 7th in the MiLPBE in hits with 52, was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Brew City reliever Real Games was the winner. His record is now 2-4. Hank Hill took the loss. The Bears go to 16-20, putting them last in the West Division.

Gary the Giraffe was the walk-off hero for Brew City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bears center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Was I getting worried?" said Bears manager . "Nope." Then he added, with a wink, "There was never a doubt in my mind."
