Swift Steeds Take Nail-Biter Over Ranas
The State College Swift Steeds topped the Puerto Rico Ranas, 2-1, in Minor League PBE action at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of State College pitcher Jackson Ramirez. The second-place Swift Steeds lifted their record to 21-15.

The Swift Steeds relied on designated hitter Bazooka Slow for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"It was a solid team effort," said Ramirez after the game.
